Move Mondays: Shoulder Rehab and Modified Exercises

Banded Pull-Aparts
-Grip the ends of your selected resistance band
-Pull them apart laterally as your body allows
-Repeats 4 sets of 15-20 repetitions

Overhead Band Pull-Aparts
-Grip the ends of your selected resistance band
-Pull them apart laterally as your body allows
-Same as previous exercise but bring band up and over your head forwards and backwards
-Repeats 4 sets of 15-20 repetitions

Single Arm Band Pulldown
-Wrap band to an elevated stable and sturdy object, such as a door hook or bar if at the gym
-In a seated or kneeling position, pull band with one arm, while driving your arm by your ribcage
-Hold for a second squeezing your lat and rear deltoid muscle
-Slowly return back to the starting position to prolong the lengthening phase of movement
-Repeat for 4 sets of 15-20 reps

Resistance Band Pulldown
-Same as previous exercise but with 2 hands

Resistance Band Upright Row
-Step into the band stretching it hip-width apart
-Grab band with palm face down (pronated) and pull upwards to shoulder height
-Repeat 4 sets of 15-20 reps

Banded Front Shoulder Raise
-Step into the band stretching it hip-width apart
-Grab band with pronated grip and pull upwards to shoulder height with arms extended outwards
-Keep a slight bend with elbows as you feel the movement with anterior deltoid
-Repeat 4 sets of 15-20 reps
